On 10 May 2023, Hub Leader Prof Veena will deliver a keynote speech at the Waste 2023 Conference.
Veena will talk about her vision for a sustainable future, the need to create sustainable materials and products from waste, and how collaborative research programs like the Hub can benefit communities.
She will also be Chair the plenary session on Day 3 of the conference.
The three-day regional, hybrid event hosted by Coffs Harbour City Council "is the leading conference for the waste management industry in Australia which is targeted at anyone who works in, or has an interest in waste management issues, particularly local government."
Organisers say "attracting in excess of 600 delegates from across the nation, this hybrid event features both face to face and online attendance options, and an interactive Equipment and Technology Expo enabling delegates to hear from the suppliers firsthand and see live demonstrations of their equipment in action".
