Waste Warriors 100 Mile regional event

On 25 March 2022, Hub Leader Prof Veena will deliver a keynote address to the Waste Warriors 100 Mile regional event hosted by the Rotary Club of Tamworth First Light.

She will join speaker Jo Taranto, Director of Good For The Hood, to discuss community sustainability issues and the need for greater innovation around waste and recycling management to boost local manufacturing, supply chains and jobs.

She will be highlighting how and why waste is a resource, and explaining the work of the Hub which is finalising its first round of research projects across five impact priority areas.
